                               Ellesmere Primary School   17th July 2009
 
.......awarded for the installation of solar heating for the swimming pool and for pupils who this academic year started a campaign to reduce,reuse and recycle school waste. 

 
The second EGGcellence Award goes to ...........
 
                      Tudor Griffiths Waste Services (Ellesmere)   8th Feb 2010
 
........awarded for the use of methane gas from their landfill site to generate electricity (enough for over 300 homes on the National Grid).
