Welshampton Green Day

13th March 2010

 

10 am - 4pm in Welshampton Parish Hall.
This special free event will give visitors a lively and unique insight into an alternative way of living. There will be over 20 exhibitions and stalls, primarily of local and county based organisations, covering every day living from the cradle to the grave! There will be activities for young and old, workshops and the opportunity to visit local homes to see firsthand how wind turbines and solar panels can improve your energy efficiency. Bring your old spectacles, mobile phones, MP3 players and ink cartridges for recycling and support World Cancer Research Fund and Vision Aid Overseas. Refreshments available. The Green Day will be followed by the showing of 'The Age of Stupid' starring Pete Postlethwaite, 7.30pm Admission FREE. Event organised by Weshampton and Lyneal Parish Council.
